Net Asset Value at 31 March 2022

Starvest Plc (LON:SVE), the London Stock Exchange AIM-listed specialist mining and resources investment company, announces a Net Asset Value ("NAV") update as at 31 March 2022.

Callum Baxter, Chairman and CEO, commented: "During the quarter to 31 March 2022, global markets were repositioning following the onset of geopolitical conflict in eastern Europe against an inflationary backdrop. This dampened the enthusiasm of investors which resulted in a reduction in the value of many companies across multiple sectors. Consistent with this trend, the Company's p ortfolio v alue and net asset value each declined approximately 15% over the quarter to 31 March 2022. However, the market discount to n et a sset v alue reduced year on year from 40% to 33% and commodity prices , including gold, have, in general, remain ed relatively high , which provides a solid foundation for our investee Companies."
