Trading Statement 
 
 
The Board of Telephonetics, the speech recognition and voice automation 
specialists, announces the following trading update. 
 
 
The Company has achieved a level of turnover broadly in line with expectations 
in the year to date and, based on anticipated order conversion, the Board 
expects this to continue for the remainder of the year ending 30 November 2009. 
In addition, the Board remains focused on cost control and has taken a more 
prudent approach to recruitment than originally anticipated. As a result, the 
Board expects adjusted EBITDA* for the current year to be slightly ahead of 
market expectations. 
 
 
The Company expects to announce its interim results for the six months ended 31 
May 2009 on Wednesday 26 August 2009. 
 
 
* adjusted EBITDA is defined as profit before interest, taxation, depreciation, 
amortisation, one-off restructuring and share-based charges.
