Awaiting Final Results of Independent Stock Option Review SANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (NASDAQ:COCO) plans to report fiscal 2007 first quarter financial results on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 instead of November 1, 2006. We expect to release earnings prior to market open and host a conference call to discuss our performance and outlook. Details regarding the conference call can be found below. As previously reported, a special committee of independent directors (the "Special Committee") is reviewing the Company's historic stock option grants. We currently expect the Special Committee to complete its investigation shortly. We did not file our fiscal 2006 Annual Report on Form 10-K ("10-K") in a timely manner because the Special Committee had not completed its work. We plan to file our 10-K as soon as practicable following completion of the Special Committee's investigation and the presentation of its findings to the Board. We have received a Nasdaq Staff Determination letter stating that our common stock is subject to delisting from the Nasdaq Global Select Market for failure to file our 10-K. We have appealed the Staff Determination and a hearing before the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel is scheduled for November 9, 2006. The Panel has stayed the suspension of trading in Corinthian securities pending a decision, but there can be no assurance that the Panel will grant our request for continued listing. Conference Call Information The above-referenced conference call will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. EDT (9:00 a.m. PDT). The call will be open to all interested investors through a live audio webcast via the internet at http://www.cci.edu/ (Investor Relations/Webcasts & Presentations) and http://www.earnings.com/. The call will be archived on http://www.cci.edu/ after the call. A telephonic playback of the conference call will also be available through 5:00 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, November 22. The playback can be reached by dialing (888) 286-8010 (domestic) or (617) 801-6888 (international) and entering passcode 92863736. About Corinthian Colleges, Inc.
