Georgetown Bank Promotes Weismann to Chief Operating Officer

Frederick H. Weismann, Executive Vice
President/Chief Operating Officer
Georgetown Bank (the “Bank”), a wholly owned subsidiary of
Georgetown Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: GTWN), recently
promoted Frederick H. Weismann to the position of Executive Vice
President/Chief Operating Officer. In his new position, Weismann
will assume responsibility for managing Commercial Banking, Retail
Banking, Commercial and Residential/Consumer Lending, Deposit
Operations, Compliance and Security.
Weismann’s background in various areas of bank operations
extends for over forty years. Most recently, he has held the
position of Senior Vice President/Senior Commercial Loan Officer at
Georgetown Bank. Prior to coming to the Bank in 2011, Weismann held
the position of Senior Vice President/New Hampshire Market Manager
in the Commercial Lending Group of Pentucket Bank, Salem, NH. Over
the years, he has held various executive positions, including Chief
Executive Officer, Chief Credit Officer, and Chief Banking Officer,
at a number of community banks in southern New Hampshire and
upstate New York.
Mr. Robert E. Balletto, President and CEO of Georgetown Bank

Weismann is a graduate of Bowling Green State University,
Bowling Green, OH where he earned his B.A. in Economics. He earned
a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rochester Institute
of Technology, Rochester, NY with a concentration in Finance and
Marketing.
