(NASDAQ:MTLG) today announced that it will extend until December 21, 2006 the expiration date of its offer to purchase from eligible employees all of their outstanding eligible options to purchase shares of Metrologic common stock granted under Metrologic's 1994 Equity Incentive Plan. The tender offer will now expire at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on December 21, 2006, unless extended. Tenders of options must be made prior to the expiration of the tender offer and may be withdrawn at any time prior to that time. As of 12:00 noon on December 18, 2006, options exercisable for 318,133 shares, representing 100% of the total eligible options, had been tendered.
