DIRECTORATE CHANGE


The Board of Avesco plc ("Avesco" or the "Company") wishes to announce that
David Brocksom, the finance director of Avesco, will be leaving the Company to
join Pace Micro Technology plc.

David's precise departure date will be announced in due course but he will
remain in office until at least early 2004.  Upon David's departure, it is
Avesco's intention to appoint Cameron Maxwell as executive finance director.
Cameron is currently a non-executive director of Avesco and has previously held
office as finance director of the Company.

The directors of Avesco wish to thank David for his contribution during his time
with the Company and wish him well in his future career.
