Insiders Increase Their Position in Western Pacific Trust Company

WESTERN PACIFIC TRUST COMPANY (TSX VENTURE:WP) announces that, pursuant to
private share transactions in its shares which closed effective June 1, 2009,
the ownership positions of two Insiders of the Company have been increased.


The Company has been advised that Mr. David M. Mercier now owns, directly and
indirectly 4,002,352 shares (19.9%), and Mr. Christopher Weston now owns,
directly and indirectly through Rimex Distribution Ltd., 3,863,887 shares
(19.2%) of the Company.
