Lukoil PJSC said Monday that its hydrocarbon production declined 4.0% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter due to gas production dynamics in Uzbekistan.

The Russian oil company's hydrocarbon production averaged 2.07 million oil-equivalent barrels a day in the second quarter, down from 2.15 million in the first quarter.

Production averaged 2.11 million barrels over the first half of 2021, down from 2.16 million in the same period of 2020, reflecting output limitations under the OPEC+ agreement.

These figures exclude production from the West Qurna-2 project in Iraq.
