VCT Status

BioScience VCT and the Company's newly appointed VCT status advisers, 
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, have been in discussions with HM Revenue & Customs
regarding aspects of the Company's VCT status. In light of these discussions, HM
Revenue & Customs has confirmed that the Company's provisional VCT approval is
maintained.
