Results of Extraordinary General Meeting


At today's Extraordinary General Meeting of Provalis plc ("Provalis"), the
resolution to approve the disposal of certain assets of Provalis Healthcare
Limited was passed.  It is expected that completion of the disposal will take
place later today.


Following completion of the disposal, Provalis will have cash balances of
approximately #3.8 million.  This cash will allow Provalis to continue the
resolution of the technical issues associated with in2it whilst fully pursuing
all available options for the Medical Diagnostic division.  As part of the
review the Group is in discussions with a number of parties, which may lead to
the sale of the business or the assets of the Medical Diagnostics division.
These discussions are at an early stage and the Board will update shareholders
in due course.


As previously announced, Mr Frank Harding has resigned as both Chairman and
director of Provalis with immediate effect.  Dr Alan Aikman, a non-executive
director, assumes the role of Chairman of Provalis.
