CA Technologies (NASDAQ:CA) today announced that Alyssa Fitzpatrick, senior vice president of CA’s Global Partner Organization and Jacob Lamm, executive vice president, Strategy and Corporate Development at CA, have both been accepted onto the World Economic Forum (WEF) Technology Pioneers Selection Committee 2015.

The Forum Technology Partners program aims to identify companies around the world, normally in their early stages, that are developing and implementing technologies and innovations that will have a large impact on business and society.

“At CA Technologies we are constantly researching new businesses and markets in which to invest that bring value to our customers,” said Lamm. “It is a privilege to apply that diligence on behalf of the WEF Technology Pioneers Selection Committee to discover deserving companies that have the potential to change the world.”

The announcement was made today from the 45th World Economic Forum taking place in Davos, Switzerland, running through 24 January.

Said Fitzpatrick, “We live in an application economy; retail, news, entertainment, banking, education, government and communications – everything is driven by a connected, mobile, application-based world where customers are far more likely to engage with a brand with enterprise software than a live person. Processes, institutions and industries that have been around and unchanged for decades are now being rethought and redesigned with the aid of technology. Many of these approaches are not being developed by large, established industry leaders, rather by their smaller, early-stage counterparts, which is why I am excited to be part of the Technology Pioneers program.”

The CA executives will have the opportunity to not only share all of their insight and experience into what our customers, and partners, demand today, but also to see firsthand some of the exciting new technologies which could fundamentally impact the way we live and work in the future.

“We are at an inflection point in history; digital transformation is unlocking new efficiencies, new possibilities, and improving standards of living for everyone and therefore knowledge sharing is more important now than ever for our industry, for our customers and for society,” Fitzpatrick concluded.

An industry veteran, Fitzpatrick has experience running strategic alliance programs with management consultancies, global systems integrators, software vendors, technology platforms and regional channel partners and Lamm, who is responsible for coordinating CA’s business strategy, including mergers and acquisitions, will join the committee members to review nominations from Forum members, academics and industry leaders. The winners will be announced in July 2015.

Other Technology Partners include Adecco, DuPont, Glencore, Google, Henkel, MasterCard, Syngenta, Manpower Group, Old Mutual and Standard Chartered amongst others.
