Northrop Grumman Lauded by CDP for Leadership in Climate Change Management and Disclosure

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been recognized by the
Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG)
emissions and the disclosure of climate change risks and
opportunities, management strategy and governance for the fourth
consecutive year.
Northrop Grumman achieved a perfect – 100/100 – disclosure
score, reflecting the completeness of the company's climate change
management program, from governance and strategy to the GHG
inventory. Northrop Grumman received an A- for performance, marking
the fifth consecutive GHG inventory for which the company achieved
"Reasonable Assurance" via third-party verification, the highest
assurance level under ISO 14064-3, a universally-recognized GHG
verification standard.

Northrop Grumman's sustainability program, greeNG, balances
energy and resource use reductions with alternative and renewable
technology to achieve emissions reductions. In addition to GHG
reduction, the company has committed to additional 2020 goals to
reduce absolute water use by 20 percent from 2014 levels and
achieved a 70 percent solid waste diversion rate.

more than 80 countries disclosed their environmental performance
through CDP, which holds the largest collection of self-reported
climate change, water and forest-risk data. CDP disclosure scores
