On June 24, 2016, John B. Ramil, President and Chief Executive Officer, informed the TECO Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) Board of Directors of his intention to retire effective August 31, 2016, contingent upon the closing of the pending merger of the Company with Emera Inc. occurring before such date.
