The Board of Community Broking Group ("CBG" or "the Company") was notified
yesterday that Mr Michael McDonald disposed of 516,666 ordinary shares in the
Company on 7 January 2004.  Also on 7 January 2004, Texas Holdings Limited
notified CBG that it had purchased 366,666 ordinary shares in the Company.



As a result Mr Michael McDonald's beneficial interest in the Company is 500,001
ordinary shares representing 6.39 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital
of the Company and Texas Holdings Limited's beneficial interest is now 1,553,919
ordinary shares representing 19.85 per cent. of the issued ordinary share
capital of the Company.
