SSgA Funds Management, Inc., the investment advisor of streetTRACKS Series Trust exchange-traded funds (ETFs), announced today that the Board of Trustees of the Trust has approved share splits of three ETFs' shares of beneficial interest. The streetTRACKS Dow Jones US Large Cap Value Index Fund (AMEX: ELV) will split shares two-for-one, and the streetTRACKS Dow Jones US Small Cap Value Index Fund (AMEX: DSV) and streetTRACKS Wilshire REIT Index Fund (AMEX: RWR) will split shares three-for-one. Each shareholder of record at the close of business on September 19, 2005 will receive two additional shares for every outstanding share held in streetTRACKS Dow Jones US Small Cap Value Index Fund and streetTRACKS Wilshire REIT Index Fund. Shareholders of record of the Dow Jones U.S. Large Cap Value Index Fund will receive one additional share for every outstanding share held on the same date. All additional shares are payable September 21, 2005. Neither the value of the Funds nor the value of shareholders' investments will change as a result of the share splits.
