Cape Plc announces that it was informed on 8 September 2003 that Montpellier
Group plc disposed of 1,500,000 shares in the Company on 4 September 2003.



Following the disposal, Montpellier Group now holds 5,493,480 Ordinary shares in
the Company, representing approximately 10.11 per cent. of the issued share
capital of Cape.
