NOTIFICATION OF INTEREST IN SHARES

Aberdeen Development Capital has informed the Company that  on
18  December  2000 Aberdeen Investment Capital  exchanged  its
interest  in  Bettagrade  Limited for  part  consideration  of
388,369  ordinary  shares in Hurlingham plc  ("the  Company"),
being 17.01 per cent of the Company's issued share capital and
20.01 per cent of the Company's ordinary issued share capital.
The  shares  are  registered  in the  name  of  ADC  (Glasgow)
Limited.
