BEIJING, Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Qiao Xing Mobile Communication Co., Ltd. (NYSE: QXM) (the "Company" or "QXM"), a manufacturer of mobile handsets in the People's Republic of China, today announced that QXM's board of directors has approved the removal of Dr. David Li as the chief executive officer and the appointment of Mr. Zhiyang Wu as the new chief executive officer of the Company with effect from December 21, 2010. Dr. David Li shall continue to serve as the general manager of Research & Development Department of CEC Telecom Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company.
