DOLTON, Ill., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Apple Rush Co., Inc. (Pink Sheets: APRU), is pleased to announce that the Company will be starting up the canned production, later this month, of the three top selling flavors of its organic sparkling 100% juice drink products: Original Apple, Pomegranate and Cranberry. The Company expects to add several new flavors in to its canning operation by the end of the year. The Company, to this point, has produced its entire, all natural, organic drinks in glass bottles, but wants to tap into the beverage market that prefers aluminum cans to glass bottles. Aluminum cans are more environmentally friendly because most of the 100 billion aluminum cans produced in the U.S. each year are recycled. The production facility, in Portland, OR, will be making the products in 12 ounce cans and packaging them in 12 pack cardboard containers, similar to how soft drinks and canned beer is sold. This plant is expected to supply demand for the west coast, as well as, Hawaii and other market areas. "We are very excited about starting to offer our beverages in this format. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality, refreshing beverages that are all natural and contain no refined sugars or artificial flavorings. Aluminum cans are ideal for preserving our slightly carbonated drinks and delivering them to our customers," stated Robert Corr, President of Apple Rush Co., Inc.
