DaimlerChrysler Splashes Color and Funds During 'Paint the Town' AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DaimlerChrysler Corporation will donate $10,000 in home repairs and hundreds of employees will join "Paint the Town" volunteers Saturday, August 14 to paint, conduct repairs and improve living conditions for 61 Detroit homeowners. The $10,000 company donation and serious repairs began this week for homeowners at 3193 Lakeview Street. The home, adopted by DaimlerChrysler Jefferson North Assembly Plant, will receive vinyl siding, a new storm door, front porch and steps in addition to the usual scraping, painting and general clean-up.
