3D Printing: Groupe Gorgé Announces Its First Success in the Jewellery Market

Business Wire
Prodways announces the sale of a D 35 machine for a new
jewellery application. Using the lost wax foundry process, this
foreign customer will print several thousands of jewellery models
(rings, pendants, etc.) on a daily basis.
The productivity of Prodways machines won over this customer,
which had already used competitor machines. Each product batch is
printed in a few hours, bringing production per unit time for a
pendant of 2.5 cm to under 11 seconds, for example. To Prodways'
knowledge, this level of productivity is unique on the market.
This printing speed demonstrates the productivity of Prodways
machines but also the performance of the software developed
enabling to process extremely large 3D data files (several tens of
Gigabytes).
