                      Change of accounting reference date

Maelor plc ("Maelor"; AIM:MLR), the specialist hospital medicines company,
confirms that its subsidiary, Acorus Therapeutics Limited, has changed its
accounting reference date to 31 March. The change was made to align the
accounting reference dates of Maelor and its subsidiaries following the
acquisition of Acorus Therapeutics Limited by Maelor.
