Innospec Inc. (Nasdaq:IOSP) today announced the formal launch of its extended new personal care surfactant product line, under the brand name of Iselux®.

Iselux® breaks new ground in that it not only sets new standards in product performance, but is also environmentally friendly.

Responding to consumer demands, personal care products formulated with Iselux® are clear but produce a creamy, dense foam, are mild to the skin, have great rinseability and an excellent after-feel.

Iselux® is a high purity surfactant which is not only free of sulphate, but also derives 80% of its carbon from renewable resources and is readily biodegradable.

Innospec showcased the product line at the 'in-cosmetics' exhibition in Paris, France last month, and generated a wave of enthusiastic interest from customers around the globe. Innospec's introduction of Iselux® to the North American market has already resulted in customer demand far exceeding initial expectations.
