Counter Terror Expo, the premier international exhibition and conference dedicated to addressing the continuing threat from international terrorism, takes place from 28-29 April in the Grand Hall, Olympia, London. The Northrop Grumman exhibit will be at location K40.

The Northrop Grumman exhibit will showcase its unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and technologies for counter improvised explosive device (IED) and remote bomb disposal operations, and a range of command and control products for critical infrastructure protection, surveillance and intelligence, emergency services interoperability and border security.

"Our advanced technology and integration capabilities in unmanned ground vehicles, and communication and information management systems put Northrop Grumman at the forefront of solution providers for customers in the U.K. and around the world," said Danny Milligan, managing director of Northrop Grumman's Information Systems sector in Europe. "We look forward to demonstrating these, not only to our U.K. customers but also to the many international delegations visiting Counter Terror Expo."

On display will be a range of Northrop Grumman's industry-leading UGVs including the world class Cutlass, Wheelbarrow Mk9 and Titus, the company's newest, lightest, fastest, most intelligent UGV designed for a variety of missions.

Cutlass and Wheelbarrow Mk9  will demonstrate their capabilities in vehicle-borne IED clearance as part of the explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) live product demonstration showcase.

Also on display will be the Integrated Tactical Rapid Assessment of CBRN Environments (I-TRACE) system, Northrop Grumman's man-portable capability for the monitoring of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear incidents and the collection and handling of related data. I-TRACE facilitates decision support and enhances situational awareness and information sharing among emergency response organizations. Analysed data is provided to users through a web portal. I-TRACE requires no specialist vehicle installation and can be rapidly deployed using existing "blue light" emergency services vehicles.

The Multi-intelligence Domain Awareness System (MIDAS) will also be highlighted. MIDAS is a state-of-the-art, net-centric, data aggregation, situational awareness and decision support system. It fuses knowledge of current operational status with powerful consequence analysis functionality, delivering a real time geospatial framework used to manage critical fusion centre operations. MIDAS is accessed using an intuitive geospatial display and can be deployed rapidly.

Another capability that will be demonstrated in the Northrop Grumman exhibit is CommandPoint, the command and control system for emergency service dispatching used by the emergency services including the London Ambulance Service and the Metropolitan Police.
