Exxon Reports Operational Snag at Baytown, Texas, Refinery
18 Octobre 2018 - 2:09AM
Dow Jones News
Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) said an operational snag led to gas
emissions Wednesday at its refinery in Baytown, Texas.
"Safety relief valve lifted resulting in emissions to the
atmosphere," the refinery said. "There is minimal impact to
production. We expect to meet our contractual commitments."
The 561,000 barrel-a-day Baytown refinery, located 25 miles east
of Houston, is the nation's second-largest refinery after Saudi
Aramco's 600,000 barrel-a-day Motiva Port Arthur refinery.
