Henkel Partners with Local Schools to Help Haiti

2,000 Pounds of Donations Collected and Shipped for Quake Victims
MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Henkel
Corporation teamed with metro-Detroit schools, Marian and Brother
Rice High Schools in their collection efforts for the survivors of
the Haiti earthquake. In their efforts, students and Henkel
employees collected 2,000 pounds of supplies, including items such
as baby products, water, non-perishable foods and medical supplies.
Henkel covered the cost of shipping the items which will be sent to
and distributed by the charitable organization Project Haiti.

Marian students, Emily Evans and Nneka Onwuzurike led the donation
drive at their high school. "We were overwhelmed by the generosity
of our fellow classmates. The amount collected surpassed our
expectations," commented the girls. "We appreciate the corporate
