Emailvision to Acquire smartFOCUS Group PLC (LSE:STF)

London, April 11 2011. The Board of Emailvision is pleased to announce it has reached agreement to acquire smartFOCUS Group PLC, a leading provider of multi-channel marketing and analytics software, for approximately £25.3 million in cash.

The Board of Emailvision believes that combining the businesses of Emailvision and smartFOCUS will further strengthen Emailvision’s position as a worldwide leader of on-demand software for email, mobile and social campaign management. In addition, the smartFOCUS business operations will expand Emailvision’s presence and customer base in the United Kingdom and the United States. Emailvision has a growing track record of acquiring complementary technology companies that can deliver significant synergies and benefits to the client base.

The Directors of smartFOCUS have unanimously approved the terms of the offer, which is subject to customary closing conditions and approval by smartFOCUS shareholders. The transaction is expected to close before the end of June 2011.
