MUMBAI, India, May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
With the recent amendments in the Companies Bill, India is all set to become the first country
to make the disclosure of CSR activities mandatory. According to
the Standing Committee on Finance, 2% of average net profit for the
last 3 years of companies should be made mandatory for companies
with a net worth of INR 500 crore or
more, or those that have an annual turnover of at least INR
1,000 crore, or companies with a net
profit of INR 5 crore or more.

Against these developments, where primary stakeholders have a
number of questions, UBM India is presenting the second edition of
Giving Back - NGO India 2013 Conference, a not-for-profit,

platform, the most influential change-makers on India's CSR horizon. This event, which focuses
primarily on developing fruitful Corporate-NGO-Government
partnerships for social welfare, will take place at Bombay Exhibition
Centre, Mumbai, India from 14-15
June 2013.

through inclusive growth. It is time to focus on building an
enabling environment, channelising core competencies of NGOs,

business acumen", says Dr Bhaskar

Corporate Affairs.
Apart from Dr Chatterjee, the platform will see several other
