NEW YORK, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors of Cohen & Steers Worldwide Realty Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE:RWF) has determined that the merger of RWF into Cohen & Steers Quality Income Realty Fund, Inc. (NYSE:RQI) remains in the best interest of stockholders and has set new record and adjourned meeting dates of December 17, 2009 and February 26, 2010, respectively. The merger, if approved, is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2010. On November 24, 2009, RQI announced that its stockholders approved merging with Cohen & Steers Advantage Income Realty Fund, Inc. (NYSE:RLF), Cohen & Steers Premium Income Realty Fund, Inc. (NYSE:RPF) and RWF. RLF and RPF also announced that each fund had approved merging into RQI. The mergers of RLF and RPF with and into RQI will be effected at net asset value and are expected to occur after the close of business on December 18, 2009.
