Global Resource Corp. Technology Converts Coal To Kerosene and Diesel Fuel

PR Newswire (US)
WEST BERLIN, N.J., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global
Resource Corp. (OTC:GBRC) (BULLETIN BOARD: GBRC) announced today
that performance tests with its patent-pending technology on coal
converted the bituminous coal into kerosene without using any
additives. This conversion process was first done by two German
scientists, F. Fischer and H. Tropsch in 1923. Since that time,
little has changed and the process has never been completed without
additives and a required heat source. Now, with GBRC's
patent-pending microwave technology, coal can be converted safely
without additives due to the specific frequency. By not using heat
or additives, the conversion becomes safer and more environmentally
friendly. GBRC's microwave technology has no additives and the
frequencies can change the chemical composition without help from
chemicals. GBRC has tested the process twice using the microwave
frequencies. Both times the results have been the same. The overall
weight of the bituminous coal was reduced by 67% after being
exposed to the microwave frequency for only ten minutes and the
carbon numbers of the hydrocarbon chains of the samples were mostly
of kerosene in the range of C14 to C20. Global Resource CEO Frank
Pringle said "We are happy that we are able to take an eighty-five
year old process and make it more efficient. The applications are
endless and we are confident we will be able to use our technology
to not only convert coal to kerosene and diesel fuel, but
eventually gasoline." About Global Resource Corporation: Global
Resource Corp. has a patent pending process that allows for removal
of oil and alternative petroleum products at very low cost from
various resources, including shale deposits, tar sands and waste
oil streams with significantly greater yields and lower costs than
are available utilizing existing known technologies. The process
uses specific frequencies of microwave radiation to extract oils
and alternative petroleum products from secondary raw materials,
and is expected to dramatically reduce the cost for oil and gas
recovery from a variety of unconventional hydrocarbon resources.
GBRC's technology will not only be developed to extract oil from
shale, but from depleted oil fields in the US and elsewhere, many
of which still contain more than half of the hydrocarbons
originally in these fields, because the residual hydrocarbons are
too viscous to extract with conventional technology. Contact:
