                 DAVENHAM GROUP PLC ("DAVENHAM" OR THE "GROUP") 
 
The Board of Davenham announces that David Coates is stepping down as Chief 
Executive of the Group with immediate effect.  Paul Burke, the Group Finance 
Director, will assume David's responsibilities and is appointed Group Managing 
Director. 
 
David has played a key role in the development of Davenham, joining the Group 
before its flotation in 2005 and leading it through a period of growth and 
subsequently through a challenging period with the onset of turbulence in 
financial markets and economic recession.  The Board would like to thank David 
for his leadership and valuable contribution and wishes him well for the future. 
 
The Board of Davenham continues to work with its advisers to complete the 
strategic review announced late in 2009.
